Hello, My name is Tory. I am a young teacher from Johannesburg, South Africa with 11 years experience teaching in Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, Georgia, Cambodia, India and Russia, although I currently reside in Asia. I am a bubbly, adventurous, and patient young woman with a passion for travel, life, and people. I am an experienced and certified ESL teacher who enjoys helping people to achieve their language goals, whether that is to prepare for an IELTS exam, begin learning for the first time, for professional development, or simply to increase confidence when speaking English (and more). Having traveled and lived in countries that aren't English-speaking, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, that is why I try to teach my students in methods and ways I know have worked for me. I am a certified ESL teacher with experience in teaching students of diverse ages and backgrounds in a variety of settings. My skills in personalized teaching techniques, coupled with my passion for teaching have produced accomplished and confident ESL students.
