About Me

I am a native English speaker from Scotland and a TEFL-certified English teacher with over eight years of teaching experience in Poland. I am passionate about helping learners build confidence and communicate effectively in English. Throughout my career, I have developed a flexible and supportive teaching approach that allows me to adapt to the individual needs and goals of my students.

Alongside teaching, I have experience creating English-language content and educational materials for businesses and universities. This has strengthened my creativity, communication skills, and ability to adapt language and materials for different audiences. My background in Graphic Design has also helped me develop engaging and visually appealing learning materials. I enjoy creating positive and inclusive learning environments where students feel comfortable participating, making mistakes, and developing their language skills.

Who I Teach, My Skills and Experience

I have taught learners of different ages, backgrounds, and ability levels, including children, teenagers, adults, university students, professionals, and educators. My experience ranges from teaching pre-intermediate learners to advanced English speakers.

My key skills include lesson planning, curriculum development, creating engaging activities and educational materials, and assessing student progress. I have experience teaching and developing all four key language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

I have also designed customised English training programmes to meet specific learning and professional needs. Additionally, I have supported university-level learners with academic writing and communication.

I am an adaptable, creative, and enthusiastic teacher with strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills. My aim is always to help learners develop practical language skills, confidence, and the ability to use English effectively in real-life situations.
