As an online English tutor for 4 years, educating Chinese students with ages ranging from 4-17 years old, my classes are quite dynamic. Every class is designed to adapt to the needs of my students and adjusts to their level of proficiency in using the English language. I provide an engaging class which makes my students feel more at ease and less pressured in learning a new language. Making my students comfortable in class is my top priority to ensure that they will build their confidence and spark their interests in discovering the beauty of learning a foreign language. Treating my students equally without any biases and letting them feel valued are some of my goals in deliving my classes.Though my classes are online, I see to it that my students would not feel the distance and would not feel intimidated by my presence. Language barrier is a challenge, but I try my best to deliver my lessons using total physical responses and animated gestures to relate with my students and let them understand the lessons even with limited knowledge of the English language.
