Let's leave behind typical textbook exercises detached from reality; you've had enough of that.

English is a way to communicate, think, argue, joke, ask questions, explain something complicated, or simply feel more free in another language. So I organize classes around real conversations and topics that are actually interesting to you.

We can talk about culture, society, politics, media, psychology, everyday life, current events, or whatever you are curious about. I like bringing articles, podcasts, short videos, images, and other materials into the lesson, but I also want the student to shape what we do. If there is something you want to read, discuss, or prepare for, we can build the class around that.

I am especially interested in working with people who already understand English but somehow get stuck when it is time to speak. I know this feeling very well, actually, from learning Polish myself. Sometimes you know the words, understand almost everything, and still feel that you have to make a perfect sentence before you can say anything.

So yes, we are going to make mistakes. Maybe a lot of them! And that is completely fine. Mistakes are part of learning; they should help us understand what to work on, not become another reason to stay silent.

I am a qualified English translator with a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Business Communication and a Master’s degree in Global Development Studies entirely in English. I also have several years of experience in research, teaching, workshops, and participatory education, so I bring that into my classes as well.

Depending on your needs, we can focus on conversation, vocabulary, grammar, professional English, presentations, writing, or academic English. I can also help you read and discuss academic texts, express more complex ideas, and feel more confident using English in university or professional settings.

I prefer to adapt lessons to the person rather than use the same structure for everyone.
