Lauren Spencer

Hi! I’m Lauren, a native American English speaker from California with a B.A. in English and more than 25 years of teaching experience. I have taught English online for several years, with much of my recent experience focused on Polish students.
I teach children, teenagers, and adults, including business professionals in both individual and group classes. I believe lessons should be enjoyable, comfortable, and genuinely useful—not stressful!
Every student is different, so I tailor my lessons to your individual level, interests, and goals. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, business English, school English, or simply becoming more confident when speaking.
My students often stay with me for a long time, and building a positive relationship with each student is very important to me. I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and actually using English.
Whether you want English for school, work, travel, or everyday life, I would be happy to help you reach your goals. I look forward to meeting you!
