In the many years that I've been teaching, I've learned one thing: all students are equal in their needs. Whether you're a waiter, a student, a parent, a professor, a taxi driver, or anyone at all, everyone should be treated equally and with the same amount of preparation. I live in another country, not the place of my upbringing, and I personally understand the stress that speaking another language can cause. That's why I genuinely strive to help everyone overcome those fears.

I love my role as a teacher/tutor, but within the class environment, I'm not only providing a certain level of knowledge but also assisting students to realise their aspirations and ambitions in learning to speak a higher level of English.

One of the greatest aspects of my job is that I get to meet people from a diverse number of backgrounds. I enjoy working with all ages, whether a 13-year-old or a 70-year-old, whether an absolute beginner or a C1-level student.

I tailor-make my lessons to suit the student, and I don't waste time providing lessons that fail to satisfy the client. I have no favourite kind of student, since all students bring something special and unique.

In that sense, I'm extremely lucky to have such a position.

Most of all, I'm fully aware of the role I play and of the responsibilities I have in undertaking the development of students' learning.
